Robotic Plasma/Laser Cutting System for Structural Steel Processing
The ZINSER BeamBot is a fully automated robotic plasma/laser cutting system for structural steel processing. Designed for the precise machining of structural steel beams and profiles, the system enables fully integrated four-sided processing within a closed robotic cutting cell. Depending on the configuration, the BeamBot combines laser and plasma cutting technologies or operates with either process individually. Typical applications include structural steel fabrication, plant engineering, and heavy industrial metal processing.
Automated beam and profile processing with laser and plasma technology
The ZINSER BeamBot is a fully automated robotic plasma/laser cutting system designed for structural steel processing and precision beam and profile machining in industrial production environments. As an integrated robotic cutting cell, it combines advanced laser cutting and plasma cutting technologies within a closed and safety-compliant system architecture. Intelligent process control and 3D scanning technology enable automatic profile measurement, position detection, and real-time machining. The fully automated 360-degree beam processing allows cutting on all four sides without manual repositioning, ensuring high cutting precision, clean contours, and accurate openings – even for complex structural steel geometries. Integrated CAD/CAM and nesting software supports direct program generation from 3D CAD models or DSTV (NC) files. This digital workflow reduces operator intervention while increasing process reliability, repeatability, and overall production efficiency in structural steel fabrication.
