Schwarzmüller counts on ZINSER

In 1871, even before ZINSER was founded in 1898, Josef Schwarzmüller opened his blacksmith’s shop in Passau (Germany). Still owned by the founding family today, this blacksmith’s shop has since grown to become an internationally known full-service provider for utility commercial vehicles. Throughout the Schwarzmüller Group’s 150-year history, the common thread has been its employees’ ability to come up with notable technical innovations.

Besides standard vehicles, Schwarzmüller also develops and produces individual added-value transport solution for demanding industries like the construction industry or the extractive industry as well as for long-distance transportation companies.

With its 2,150 employees, the company produces more than 10,000 trailers and lorry superstructures a year – with an upward trend. In order to meet the increasing demand also with its cutting production capacities, the Schwarzmüller Group counts on two ZINSER cutting systems, one at the headquarters in Hanzing (Freinberg, Austria), and one in Dunaharaszti (Hungary).

ZINSER 2425-N with CNC 6010 controller and a Kjellberg 360i plasma power source at Schwarzmüller’s site in Hungary.

In a very close cooperation, ZINSER delivered two optimally tailored cutting machines, meeting Schwarzmüller’s requirements not only regarding cutting functionalities and software interfaces, but also regarding customer care and production support: “We do not tie our customers to some standard maintenance agreement. Instead, we are always giving support immediately, if our customers need us”, explains Christian Rokhgar, CEO of ZINSER’s Austrian dealer.
